Established in 1999, ENERGY GUIDES is a progressive and forward-thinking Training Provider in the Tourism Industry.  We are accredited by the Culture, Art, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Education and Training Authority (CATHSSETA) under Registration Number 613/P/000017/2004.

We offer excellent, personalised training in the specialist fields of Tourist Guiding and General Travel and we are specialists in coaching and guiding learners to achieve competence, and in assessing that competence according to CATHSSETA standards.

ENERGY GUIDES has established a reputation as a progressive and forward-thinking organisation, transferring skills and contributing towards the transformation process.

ENERGY GUIDES owes its origin and growth to the infectious enthusiasm, faith and dedication of its founder, Erica Kempken.  Since inception we have trained and RPL’d many guides ranging from professors and specialists in their respective fields to young individuals with no experience or skills in the tourism industry.  Some of the latter have opened their own businesses, making our considerable contribution to the development in the field of guiding an achievement of which we are justly proud.
